On the Raijs: So we started a blog

Yep, a family blog. There's nothing like growing a little human (as far as we know) to spark interest from family and friends. And since we live in Memphis, far away from the aforementioned family and friends, we thought a blog would be a good way to share updates on our growing family.

We thought we'd start with some answers to frequently asked questions about the Raijbaby.

When is the due date?
February 21. That means Emily is about 25 weeks pregnant now.

Do you know what you're having?
A baby. Oh, you mean the gender? The ultrasound tech seemed pretty certain that the Raijbaby is a girl.

Is Emily throwing up all the time?
Fortunately, no. So far, the Raijbaby is very calm (she must take after Andrew) and has not made Emily throw up at all! Other than a little heartburn from time to time, Emily feels great. Yes, she realizes she is very lucky.

Is Emily getting bigger?

So how does Ruby feel about the new addition?
We like to think she's excited about having a new butt to sniff, but she'll probably be a little jealous at first. She doesn't really seem to notice the growing belly yet because she is very focused on the amazing, three-acre dog park she gets to go to every week here in Memphis.
